TRUMP Team Moves $249M in Tokens to Binance, OKX Over Eight Months

TRUMP tokens moving toward Binance and OKX in a digital crypto network

The TRUMP token team has moved 81.87 million tokens to major crypto exchanges over the past eight months, according to Ember. The transfers involved Binance, OKX and other platforms and were worth about $249 million based on prices at the time. The tokens equal about 8.2% of TRUMP’s total 1 billion-token supply.

The team originally received 800 million TRUMP, or 80% of the total supply. Ember’s data shows that about 718 million tokens are still in wallets controlled by the team. Those tokens were worth roughly $1.49 billion at the reported valuation.

TRUMP Tokens Move to Exchanges

TRUMP launched on the Solana blockchain with a total supply of 1 billion tokens. Most of those tokens went to the team and related entities.

Ember calculated that the 81.87 million tokens moved to exchanges had an average price of about $3.04 each. That puts their total value at around $249 million when they were transferred.

But this does not mean the team sold $249 million worth of TRUMP. Moving tokens to an exchange does not automatically mean they were sold. The tokens could be sold later, used to provide liquidity or moved to another wallet.

Blockchain records also cannot always show what happened after the tokens reached an exchange. So, the transfers do not tell us how many tokens were actually sold.

In September, about 8.4 million TRUMP worth roughly $18 million moved to OKX deposit addresses after a scheduled token unlock.

Team Still Holds Most TRUMP Tokens

The 81.87 million tokens moved to exchanges are only a small part of the team’s original allocation.

About 718 million TRUMP remains in wallets controlled by the team, according to Ember. At the reported valuation, those tokens were worth around $1.49 billion.

TRUMP follows a multi-year schedule for releasing tokens. More tokens are expected to become available through late 2027.

The 81.87 million tokens moved so far represent about 10% of the team’s original 800 million-token allocation. Most of that allocation therefore remains in team-controlled wallets.

Exchange Transfers Do Not Prove Sales

The $249 million figure is based on TRUMP prices when the transfers took place. It is not the amount the team is confirmed to have received.

If some of the tokens were sold, the amount received would depend on the price at the time of each sale. Market conditions could also affect the final amount.

Some tokens may not have been sold at all. They could still be sitting in exchange wallets or could have been moved for other purposes.

This is an important limit when tracking crypto wallets. Blockchain records show where tokens move, but they do not always show what happens after an exchange receives them.

TRUMP Remains Far Below Its Peak

TRUMP reached an all-time high of about $73.43 shortly after launch. By early October, the token was trading near $2, based on the supplied market data.

That puts the current price far below its earlier peak. It is also below the $3.04 average price calculated for the 81.87 million transferred tokens.

At a price of $2, the team’s remaining 718 million TRUMP would be worth about $1.44 billion. The reported $1.49 billion figure uses a somewhat higher token price.

The value of the team’s remaining holdings will change as TRUMP’s market price moves.

More TRUMP Tokens Are Scheduled for Release

The team’s remaining tokens are subject to a release schedule that runs through late 2027. More tokens are expected to become available during that period.

So far, Ember has tracked 81.87 million TRUMP moving toward exchanges, while about 718 million remains in team-controlled wallets.

The transfers show where some of the team’s tokens have moved, but they do not prove that those tokens were sold. Future transfers will provide more information about how the remaining tokens move as new amounts are released.
